About K-Traveler
K-Traveler is a Korea travel guide for travelers around the world who have become interested in Korea through K-pop, K-beauty and K-food. It gathers the travel videos and tourism information that the Korea Tourism Organization publishes on the Public Data Portal (data.go.kr) by region and theme, so you can preview sights, landscapes, historic sites, festivals and food spots across Korea through aerial drone footage.
Available in 14 languages
Menus and labels are translated by people. Public data such as place names, addresses and descriptions is machine-translated from Korean on our own translation server and stored; when the original changes, only the changed sentences are retranslated. Use “Show original” to see the Korean text, and the Korean name and address are shown so you can show them to locals.
Data sources
- Korea Tourism Organization — Tourism Video Service — video list, details, region and category codes
- Korean Tourism Information Service (TourAPI 4.0) — sights, festivals, stays and restaurants
- Video copyright belongs to the Korea Tourism Organization; we use them under KOGL Type 1 (attribution).
How it works
- Videos stream directly from the Korea Tourism Organization’s CDN. Mind your data usage on mobile networks.
- Data is stored and refreshed — lists every 6–12 hours, details every 7 days — so changes are picked up.
