Gangwon State Natural Learning Center

Established in 1980, the learning center aims to foster an understanding and appreciation of nature, cultivate a broad sense of humanity and a strong spirit through group training in the natural environment, and develop a sense of order, cooperation, and the qualities of a democratic citizen. Located within the scenic Chiaksan National Park, the center is surrounded by the ancient Buddhist temple of Guryongsa from the Silla Dynasty and the Hwangjangrim (Korean red pine forest), which has been preserved since the Joseon Dynasty. It is a natural learning facility with pristine water, clean air, and beautiful scenery.
