Suncheon Eco Village

전남광주통합특별시 순천시 승주읍에 위치한 순천생태마을은 2006년 농림부로부터 녹색농촌체험마을로 지정된 자연 친화형 산촌 마을이다. 약 400여 년의 역사를 지닌 이곳은 조계산 자락의 아름다운 자연환경 속에 자리하고 있으며, 계곡과 습지가 잘 보존돼 있어 다양한 생태 자원을 만날 수 있다. 장수풍뎅이와 사슴벌레, 멸종 위기 2급 곤충인 애기뿔소똥구리 등이 서식하고 있으며 문유산 일대의 철쭉 군락과 운해, 일출 풍경도 장관을 이룬다.
The village runs a variety of farm experience programs, including crafts, farm produce processing, and insect and animal experiences. Visitors can also enjoy activities that bring out the charm of the countryside, such as lighting a traditional hearth fire, cooking in a cauldron, valley ecology tours, stargazing and campfires. It is especially popular with families, who can relax in nature and learn about ecology at the same time.
