[Jirisan Dulle-gil] Donggang-Sucheol

The Jirisan Dulle-gil is a horizontal path that goes around slowly, reflecting and feeling. It is a long-distance walking trail of about 300 km connecting 3 provinces (Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongnam), 5 cities and counties (Namwon, Gurye, Hadong, Sancheong, Hamyang), 16 townships and about 80 villages around Jirisan. The 12.3 km Jirisan Dulle-gil section connecting Donggang-ri, Hucheon-myeon, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do and Sucheol-ri, Geumseo-myeon, Sancheong-gun passes through 4 villages and leads to Sancheong. It is a place that holds the pain of modern Korean history, and a memorial park has been created to heal the wounds of history. It conveys a story of unfulfilled love and is also the path where Jirisan peddlers traveled between Hamyang, Sancheong, and Deoksan to make a living.
