지리산정원은 2024년에 전남광주통합특별시 지방정원 제3호로 지정된 남도 최초의 숲정원이다. 지리산정원은 지리산 자락의 지초봉(해발601m)을 중심으로 남서쪽에 위치하고 있으며, 야생화테마랜드, 구례생태숲, 숲속휴랜드, 유아숲체험원, 지리산자생식물원, 숲속수목가옥, 생명치유가옥 등 시설이 있다. 이외에 소나무숲에 조성된 별빛숲정원, 와일드정원과 케스케이드 및 야생화타워와 어우러진 하늘정원, 숙박시설 주변에 조성된 프라이빗정원, 계절별 야생화가 피는 어울림정원 등으로 조성된 숲정원이다.
