Malgeun Gaeul Camping Site

The Malgeun Gaeul Campground is located in Hasong-ri, Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is about 33 km from Sangju City Hall, and can be easily reached by car by entering the Dangjin-Yeongdeok Expressway at Namsangju IC and exiting at Hwaseo IC. The travel time to arrival is around 30 minutes. This place is situated along a stream formed by water flowing down from a mountain valley. This is also why the campground was named Malgeun Gaeul Campground. Many people visit to enjoy both water play and camping at the same time. The campground has 23 general campsites. There are 18 crushed stone sites and 5 deck sites. Nearby the campground is Janggakpokpok Falls, whose cool stream is superb, making linked sightseeing easy. If you head toward the Mungyeong Ssangnyong Valley area, many restaurants are thriving, so you can also try food you like.
