남해의 동쪽 지역과 서쪽 지역이 교차하는 접점에 위치한 시문마을에 양곡과 비료를 보관하던 창고로 이용되다가, 2016년 7월 회화전시를 시작으로 복합문화공간으로 재탄생한 곳이다. 시문마을 외에 대정에도 돌창고 프로젝트라는 공간이 있다. 지역의 식자재를 활용해 만든 식음료를 판매하는 뮤지엄 카페다.
