금성산 아래 경현리와 성안을 이어주던 길목인 한수제 일대는 크고 넓적한 바위가 많아 예로부터 나주 시민들이 시원한 금성산 경치를 즐기며 휴식을 취하던 놀이터의 역할을 하였다. 또한 등산로 입구 우측으로 벚꽃길이 조성되어 있어 봄이면 화려한 벚꽃을 구경을 할 수 있다.
