Gangneung Guksu Festival

The Gangneung Noodle Festival is a representative gourmet festival held in Gangneung, a city of noodles where noodle dishes such as Jangkalguksu, Makguksu, Jjamppong, and Gamja Ongsimi Kalguksu are loved more than in any other region. It was much loved as the Gangneung Noodle Festival until 2025, and in 2026, marking its 5th edition, the event name was changed to the Gangneung Noodle Festival to become more familiar to the public and to reflect local characteristics in diverse ways. In 2026, it will be held for four days from October 15 to October 18 on Wolhwa Street, and in addition to a food zone where you can taste various Gangneung noodles, there are plenty of related things to see and enjoy, and you can experience the tastes of various noodles from Gangneung's representative restaurants to those hidden in every alley. Along with various experiences, exhibitions, contests, cooking shows, and other diverse attractions, you can fully enjoy the golden autumn of 2026 here on Wolhwa Street.
