2026 Month of Culture Yeosu

The '2026 Month of Culture' event, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City, and Yeosu City, will be held for four days from Friday, October 16 to Monday, October 19 at the Marine Park and throughout Yeosu City. The 'Month of Culture' event, which has continued since 1990, is a cultural festival designed to promote the region's unique culture and charm and to allow all citizens to enjoy culture and arts together. This year, under the theme 'Yeosu Night Sea, a Voyage of Romance and Culture,' it will add Yeosu's history and art to the beauty of the sea and islands, creating a place of culture that citizens and visitors can enjoy and empathize with together. Featuring invited performances by Park Hye-won and Jiolpak, along with a variety of performances, exhibitions, experiences, and living culture programs, it will present the unique charm of Yeosu. This autumn, four days when Yeosu becomes the stage. A special voyage to meet the romance of the night sea and the emotion of culture and arts begins.
