Taejosan Park

It is a spacious and beautiful park located below Taejosan Mountain in Yuryang-dong. The park features the small and lovely Taejo Lake, a beautiful sculpture park, an indoor gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, and walking trails on Taejosan Mountain, making it a great place for a light outing with family and a packed lunch. It is also well equipped with an artificial rock climbing center and natural and artificial grass fields. Inside the park stands the 'Statue of Cheonan People,' a monument honoring the patriotic spirits who bravely sacrificed their lives for the country and the people, and the lawn plaza displays fighter jets and tanks used by the armed forces, a memorial to the fallen heroes of the Cheonan warship, and a model of the Cheonan warship. In front of the park are the Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center and the Cheonan City Taejosan Youth Training Center.
