Open Port Christmas: Bulmeong

is a year-end healing festival where citizens and their dogs sit around a campfire together in a Christmas atmosphere, resting, playing, and sharing warmth to warmly wrap up the end of the year. It will be held on Saturday, December 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 1883 Open Port Plaza of Incheon Sangsang Platform. This event will be decorated as a special space where you can enjoy both the romance of winter camping and the Christmas atmosphere at the same time. In the 'Bulmeong Camping Zone,' set up among sparkling lights and cozy decorations, a campfire experience will be held on a first-come, first-served basis for those who made reservations in advance, and a winter snack welcome kit that adds to the camping mood will also be provided. A moment to pause and rest under the warm firelight becomes a small comma in the busy daily life of the year-end. Another centerpiece of the event is the 'Bulmeong Warmth-Sharing Campaign.' By participating in the campaign zone and experience zone and collecting Bulmeong stamps, you can join in donations for abandoned dogs. The warmth of the campfire goes beyond a simple experience and leads to warm help for someone, making participation itself a meaningful year-end gift. A 'Meongmeong Playground' will also be operated for citizens who visit with their dogs. A warm indoor play space and a large free zone measuring 500 pyeong are prepared so that dogs can run and play freely, and guardians can also stay comfortably and enjoy the year-end atmosphere. The laughter echoing across the plaza, the footsteps of the dogs, and the soft lights blend together to make a winter day even cozier. The excitement of Christmas, the warmth of the campfire, the connection with dogs, and the meaning of sharing all come together in one place. This last Saturday spent at Sangsang Platform will become a warm year-end scene that will be remembered for a long time even in the cold season.
